I organized the first (annual?) Petite Secret Santa Exchange this year (via the AN Forum) for the petite bloggers to get to know one another better. It was a huge success with 14 participants! :D The idea of it was to take a month to get to know your recipient better so you can decide what to get for them. The budget was $15 to $25 USD plus shipping.
I was so anxious to receive my package because most of the other participants received theirs in under a week! I'm one of the few who doesn't reside in the US so I figured I had to wait a bit longer.
So who was my Secret Santa? *drum roll* Jess of Style Pint! :D
I was so happy when I saw these things...they were exactly what I wanted. : ) I added "interesting socks", "fashion/streetstyle books", and China Glaze's Refresh-Mint to my wishlist and she found them all! What's funny is that I was looking at this very book the day I received this package and considered getting it. Good thing I didn't because I came home to it that night. : )

I put on the nail polish right away that night (even though it's not really a winter colour) and I can't wait to wear those knee highs! Thanks so much, Jess! You totally nailed my wishlist. : )
One little problem ... I did a little nail polish swap with Kileen of Cute and Little earlier. I sent her OPI's Over The Taupe and she sent me China Glaze's Refresh-Mint. I kinda tricked her because I was actually her Secret Santa...I made it seem like a swap because I didn't want her getting it for herself!! I felt bad that she actually sent me something because I had a "reason" to send her the polish. LOL I added a few "bonus" gifts to her package since she was so kind. ^_^
I'm thinking I should use one of the extra bottles in a future blog giveaway so it's somewhat fair for everyone. How does that sound?
I'm glad I did this Secret Santa Exchange because I made a few new blogger friends. I knew about Kileen's blog prior to this, but after drawing her name, I was encouraged to read her blog more to get to know her better and I'm glad I did. : )
Megan (from Australia) has no blog, but has been an active member of the AN Forum for a few months now. : )
Discovering petite bloggers has opened my fashion world- Australia is VERY limited in terms of petite clothing and ordering online can be precarious when returning things is super expensive so finding blogs where girls my size would review items was a liberating discovery.
Getting packages in the mail and choosing presents are two of my favourite things ever so when I saw Jessy's suggestion in the Alterations Needed Forum I was very keen to join in. I was a bit worried about the logistics of participating from the other side of the world though!
Just after my birthday, a package from Canada arrived from the lovely Cynthia! My thoughtfully chosen gift included a pink scarf from H&M, a sweet bird brooch and a gorgeous Christmas card.
It was so exciting getting a surprise present. Thank you so much Cynthia for the lovely gift and to Jessy for organising :)

Thank you for participating this year, everyone! I look forward to doing another one next Christmas. Happy holidays!
