Petite Fashion Challenge 7: The Little Black Dress

This Month's Challenge: "The Little Black Dress"
A little black dress (LBD) is essential in every woman's wardrobe. It's always great for back-up if you run out of outfit ideas for a night out. Adding a pop of colour to your LBD will change up its look and make your dress a little less boring.

For this challenge, add a pop of colour (or two) to your little black dress to change up the look. You could add anything from an accessory to a blazer, or even nail polish!

Okay I admit it! I half-assed my own challenge. So sorry, guys..but I had exams to study for this month, along with me & my boyfriend's anniversary, work, and other errands to do. And summer school is next week.. ahhh... ><

So I was lazy with this, but I hope everyone else created great outfits with this challenge! I'd love some inspiration :D
Dress: Rodarte x Target | Ring: Urban Outfitters | Heels: H&M

Typical to add red to a black dress, but my creative juices just weren't flowing. :P Isn't this dress pretty though? :D

Dress: N/A | Tee: Forever 21 | Heels: H&M | Rings: eBay & ASOS | Bag: Coach

  29. Oh my god, you just walked out of a Korean fashion ad, or something in YesStyle. I love it.

    You're so cute.

I don't own an LBD, so I didn't feel right trying to participate in this challenge... and then I saw that Khatu TOTALLY CHEATED... And I was like, F, I should have done that.

    Oh well, next month!

  37. Jessy, I'm really loving your second casual outfit. I think the pin/red stripes on the T and the red shoes really work well together. I'm usually not a fan of the Coach C all over the place bags, but I like how this bag works with your outfit. A casual, nice kind of way. :) Thanks for hosting this challenge. Good luck on your studies!

  38. i love your LBD!! i'm still on the lookout for the perfect black dress :D

    ReplyDelete
  39. Thanks for hosting this, Jessy! I really like that first dress. I must have missed it as part of Rodarte for Target and was probably distracted by their much less wearable, weird creations. This dress is very elegant looking (and seems to be quite fitted) on you, unlike the stuff I saw in store last week that they brought back from the initial Rodarte for Target collection. The red pumps and turquoise make it extra pretty! Lots of red pumps in this challenge it seems : )

  40. @Vicky
Thanks Vicky! I like how the bag adds to the "casual-ness" of the look too : )

    @PetiteAsianGirl
It feels a bit loose, but not throughout. : )
